    Wireless Mickey tour guide.

I can't remember if it's Disney World that has this, but there's a Mickey doll you can buy that gives you a tour and facts as you enter different sections of the park. It also lets you know when characters are near and when parades and fireworks are going to start. Why doesn't Disneyland have something like that? Did the Disney World one not work out? I've been to Disneyland and DCA a million times and would still buy one of those!
Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it the four beers you had at DCA, hmmm?

It does tend to repeat sometimes, but overall it's ok. I'm surprised it hasn't made its way to Disneyland yet...

We bought a Pal Mickey for our 2005 trip. Of course, we had two year old twins, a four year old and a six year old with us. I found it repetitious and not that funny, but the kids really enjoyed it. At least it entertained them while we were in line. They still haul him out occasionally to show me that they still have him.

Like $60 or $70, you used to be able to rent them for a day for about $20, but that was discontinued when they stopped being turned back in. and they have extra "outfits" you can buy Mickey as well, such as a safari outfit and those are $20 a piece.

Teddy Ruxpin scared me. I believe that whatever dolls are left are secretly hiding underground and are in the stages of planning world domination while riding on the backs of whatever that 8-legged freakshow of a pal's name was.

I understand that a couple of weeks after you bring the PAL Mickey home, it starts asking, "When are you going back to Walt Disney World?"

Back in the 80s when Teddy Ruxpin first came out, I was working at a department store along the lines of Target. After hours, the toy department people would pop an AC/DC or Alice Cooper tape into our display model and Teddy'd go to town.

Then, somehow, the display got messed up and they removed the covering from his face. Think he's scary as is? Try seeing him Terminator style. I still have nightmares. Country Bear Jamboree was never the same after that.

I think I'm better off having never seen that!

I really loved my Pal Mickey (PM as I called him for short....) I must admit...I did get the yellow poncho for him... ...which actually did come in handy during a sudden rainstorm...
