    Re: DCA time

I haven't looked back, but I THINK they had one where DCA's x-mas tree goes near Golden Dreams.

Did they really take it out??

I also questioned why the board would be WAY back there. But I guess you could consider that as the heart of DCA...

    Re: DCA time

DCA used to have one that sat outside near the SF buildings the one closest to the parade route. Then it just went away one year, but most of the time it would read "now open" or "5 or 10 mins" or "continious shows every 20 mins". They should really bring it back during busy periods and place it in Sunshine Plaza it would really help instead of walking all the way back to Screamin' to find out its 60+mins.

    Re: DCA time

After they stopped using the south board, they we're getting ready to put up a new one (a North board), however, I never saw it actually used. I snapped a picture of it (back when ToT first opened, and McDonalds had an 'early entry' coupon for it), and it was used in one of Al's articles.

The board in DCA should tell you how long your wait is to re-enter DL.

Perhaps they need aboard that says how long guests stay on average in DCA before returning to DL

DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.

    Re: DCA time

Interesting that the board used abbreviated land names. "Hollywood" instead of "Hollywood Pictures Backlot" and "Bug's Land" instead of "A Bug's Land"

And what horribly disappointing and uninteresting photocollage attraction posters on the back. Nothing like the gloriously artistic posters that Disneyland features across the esplanade.

    ...Poor DCA.

It's still good to note that I never saw this ever used during operating hours. This was out before opening (when ToT opened early if you had a McD's coupon). It's possible they we're just testing it out.

Still, even full, it would make the area look like there wasn't much to do.

I'd imagine that's why they didn't end up using it. It's bad enough the park doesn't really have much going on, but you don't want to actually tell people that!

I usually lied when they called.

Well, I made a worthless guess anyway.
