    Disneyland Harbor Blvd Sign REPLACED

    Hi,
Don't know if this was mentioned already, but the sign on Harbor Blvd was finally replaced to the official Disneyland Resort logo (though so far 'Resort' is missing).
    This is if from Darkbeer:

Thanks for the link, and thanks for the photos Darkbeer...

I like the sign, very nice upgrade IMHO. I like the whole star walk around the Resort too, it is a nice piece of history to remember for years to come.

    It's really horrible.

What happened to the yellow poles and the yellow stripes in the sidewalk?

I know this sounds shallow, but one of the reasons why I don't want to stay in the Harbor blvd hotels, is because I don't want to walk through that underwhelmnig, and lackluster, sign and sidewalk.

It was so much more festive and exciting with the old signage and the yellow stripes and poles. You felt a sense of anticipation build.

    Now it's just dreary.

From now on, I stay on-property, so I don't have to deal with that.

Why is everything so blue at the resort now? Is it part of the promotion?

Doesn't John Stamos own this sign now? Let's steal the sign from him. They should do this on Knights of Prosperity. Instead of stealing from Mick Jagger they should steal from John Stamos. LOL. I like this sign better than the old yellow one but I don't really think either are as exciting as the old ones.

Sweet, 'bout time. Another nail in the coffin of the old Disneyland Resort logo.

Yeah, the new sign looks nice, and so does the entire Resort area. Walking around there is great. Clean sidewalks, wonderful palm trees, nice lighting. I'd like to see the castle featured more when the Disneyland Resort logo is used, like this:

Is it just me, or is the Walt Disney star dirty? It looks like the middle has been scratched up a bit. Those granite stars need to be taken care of and maintained...

Re: Disneyland Harbor Blvd Sign REPLACED

I like the old medieval font of the original Disneyland sign better (the one on poles). Still, actually seeing the word "Disneyland" warms my heart. I was fully expecting to see "Disney Parks(tm)" on that sign.
