    Hollywood Bowl

Is anyone going to the LA Philharmonic Disneyland show at the Hollywood Bowl this summer? Apparently they are basically playing the songs on the soundtrack. I got an ad for it a while back, but it isn't on the Hollywood bowl website yet. I think it is around the 4th of July. I wish I could go, but I will be out of town. Is anyone else going, though?
Did you hear about the three blondes who were driving to Disneyland?
After being in the car for hours, they saw a sign that said "Disneyland left" so they turned around and went home.

We've talked about it. I think we'll be there. Hollywood Bowl is such fun... take a picnic and enjoy music under the stars.
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

I would love to but I am already going to Judas Priest w/Queensryche, as well as Bad religion and probably Pat Benatar so my concert schedule is booked this summer.
How much longer will it take
    For the world to see.

Just got my tickets in the mail, I'm so excited!!!
    Going:
    July 2 - Disneyland/4th of July w/fireworks
    July 8 - Sondheim's 75th
    July 23 - Tchaikovsky w/fireworks & Trojan Marching Band
July 29 - Great American w/fireworks (worth it for Mauceri's State of the Union speech alone!)
    August 13 - Tony Bennett
Sept 5 - Rocky Horror Picture Show, no, I'm not kidding
    Sept 11 - Keali'i Reichel
    Sept 23 - AFI's 100 yrs of film

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Hollywood Bowl is so great! I've only been there once, but we had a wonderful time. The Disney show sounds like fun.

What soundtrack are they playing songs from?

I go to the Hollywood Bowl a few times each summer. I would personally recommend that you take one of their long range shuttle busses rather than taking your own car. It doesn’t cost that much and save a lot of headaches.

I want to go so bad, but there's no way I can make it this year. I heard Richard Sherman and Fess Parker will be there -

Did anyone go last year? That was phenomenal!!

I went to last years Disney show and had a great time. The highlight was seeing Dick Van Dyke sing songs from Mary Poppins. He was even dancing around the stage! It was a wonderful moment.

They also had a medley of songs sung by Jodi Benson, Paige O'hara, Judy Kuhn and Alan Menken which was fun.

Sadly I don't think I will be making the show this year. But I'll watch the fireworks from my roof.
What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?

Probably going if I can. I'm seeing the Arcade Fire with David Byrne on June 26, too!
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!
