People give compliments because they are being nice people. So if a cast member sores above what their job requires them to do, they don't deserve to get any recognition from anyone, right?

And you expect City Hall to do what?
Amen! What on earth could they possibly do?

I'm sure one day I should just take a trip to City Hall, sit and watch the hilarious complaints come in.

Guest: This ride was closed, I paid X number of dollars to come here for this ride!
    or
Guest: That mean crowd control man shouted at me to get on the right side of the path only because I was blocking on coming people!
    or
Guest: The rude cast member told my beautiful child to not climb and sit on the ropes.

So you have seen a change already huh? So in 24 hours the smell of marijuana smoke has been cleared from that area?

I have nver complained at city hall. I guess I don't let things bother me that much. My mother put one compaint in. She worded ti sort of like....the cm's who were workign were doing their best, but more pople need to be scheduled. It should not take 45 minutes to be served a drink. (diet coke)..she really wanted to let someone know what was going on....idk...I guess it made her feel better.

I went yesterday to compliment someone and they said I had to go online to do it or write in. Anyone else get that too? Someone needs to check that out.

And the compliments DO get back to the CMs, believe me. Managers also make sure the complaints do too, btw.

The only time City Hall has ever heard from me was the time Indiana Jones was unable to save one of the troop transports from the uncoming boulder. The vehicle was crushed. No survivors. I felt this to be bad form of the park, and the CM dressed as Indy.

    Other than that, nothing.

That's weird. I have witnessed it myself that some kid lost their balloon and the ppl went to city hall and they replaced it for them. (I was behind them in city hall and heard the conversation). You must have gotten one of the RUDE cm's that work in there... (in my oppinion most of the cm's at disneyland city hall are the rudest in the park!)
Really..the rudest in the park? That's a bit harsh now.

Re: What is a good enough reason to go complain to City Hall?

I am being serious... I went in to get a GAC for a condition I have. I had lost my other one I had earlier that day. I had a wheelchair stamp on the card before and explained what happened. Then the cm said very rudely "Well, I will give you whichever one I want to. I don't care what stamp you had before" I was pretty much in tears! I have never been treated that way in any disney park!
