Yes, Urban Legend. Recall reading about it in MouseTales and how Disney ended up publishing a press report saying that none of the claims were true at all.

D'oh! It was like the person who sat next to us during Fantasmic last month playing the "I know everything about Disneyland" card. She told our group that her Husband used to have dinner with Walt in Club 33... Riiiiiight... When we informed her that this was not possible (for obvious reasons), she promptly shut up.
You see, this is why all of life's questions should be asked here. I love that you all knew about this Snopes site, and I shall refer the 'helpful acquaintance' to it. Thanks, you all the best.
darn.
I thought that one was smart.
Course, I neer go at night without someone... just do the drive through
In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.
I used to take my kids and beg for someone to take them.
They never did.
Or, maybe I dreamt that?
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
There has never been a lost child at Disneyland who wasn't recovered, ever. If we have the parent, we immediately call Security, since it is a kidnapping risk, however, it's usually just that the kid wandered off.
The vast majority of kidnappings are perpetrated by someone the victim knows. IIRC, the highest percentage of kidnappers are non-custodial parents.
I think Snopes should be required reading for life, but that's just me.
In todays world with cell phone cameras, mass media outlets, AMBER alerts and all the other stuff in this information age it would be nearly impossible. Kidnappers look for easy opportunities and this is definitely not the place. If this did happen, even years ago, this would have made the news. Look at stories like the person who said she was carjacked and drown her kids. Adam Walsh, son of John Walsh, America's Most Wanted Host, they were all over the media when this happened. Yet can you find one story anywhere of a kid ever being ubducted from DL? I do not think so. Most child kidnappings are aslo by parents that may be seperated or by another family member.
Just put this one in the long list of urban legends.
