Every year this topic comes up, just as regular as the "is it fair for the gays to have their own day?" thread that always seems to come up during Gay Days.
I have gone at least twice on two various superbowl days, and did not find it any more or less crowded than any other Sunday. It certianly was not "dead", as the the uban legends would otherwise state.
Yeah, ESPN Zone will be a zoo, but not as big a zoo as when, say, the Angels are in the playoffs or the Trojans are in the Rose Bowl.
The coolest thing about Super Bowl Sunday is how empty the park is at opening. I usually end up at a Super Bowl party, but the park is slower than usual that day, and the game usually starts late afternoon, so we will often go at opening time and it is noticeably less crowded.
