How Busy Is The Park Super Bowl Weekend?

Just wondering if there is any difference. The SB this year is Feb. 4th.

Hard to say, actually. It varies tremendously. It's usually pretty quiet, as most people are at home. But when it's in town, the days surrounding it can be fierce.

When it's in town? Wasn't the last time 14 years ago in 1993??

I've been a few times in the past and it's a little quieter. Once though back in 2003 it was actually a bit more crowded than I had anticipated.

I'd love to go then because for me the weather would be nice. I'd just want the castle back out of the tarps so that I could get my once a year photo.

Really? Is that *all* you're doing while you're down here?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

It'll still be busy. Superbowl Sunday is like the other gay day at Disneyland.

    I'll be there.

Every year this topic comes up, just as regular as the "is it fair for the gays to have their own day?" thread that always seems to come up during Gay Days.

I have gone at least twice on two various superbowl days, and did not find it any more or less crowded than any other Sunday. It certianly was not "dead", as the the uban legends would otherwise state.

All the Mice Chat fans of football should have a meet there while the non-fans could hang out in the park.

Yeah, ESPN Zone will be a zoo, but not as big a zoo as when, say, the Angels are in the playoffs or the Trojans are in the Rose Bowl.

The coolest thing about Super Bowl Sunday is how empty the park is at opening. I usually end up at a Super Bowl party, but the park is slower than usual that day, and the game usually starts late afternoon, so we will often go at opening time and it is noticeably less crowded.
