We all know the obvious things that will be happening to the parks of the Disneyland Resort over the next few years, but my rock solid, real, and completely not made up sources have given me information on three upcoming events, attractions, and additions that are 100% going to happen. So, sit back and enjoy the ride.
1. Further Haunted Mansion additions
With the success of the new Corpse Bride and the underrated "50 new cobwebs" that we have now, Imagineers have decided to "up" this classic attraction by actually adding three new rooms. First will be "The Haunted Coat Closet" where you will be expected to hang up your coats and jackets (winter specific). After the ride you will find that much of your pocket change is missing. Spooky!! The second room with be an interactive backpacking ghost room. The three tired old spooks we've all seen a billion times will be replaced by European Backpacking ghosts who will follow you around and tell you how American economic practices has left the rest of the world in abject squaller. The third room will be "The Curio niche from hell" where the most spooky objects of history sit and gather dust. Oooooo Duuust!
2. Spocking Space Mountain
Logic and patience will be the new motto for this Space Mountain overlay. Using the Prime Directive as an overall theme and the hit theme song from the popular Star Trek relates series "Enterprise", Guests will be allowed to "boldly go where no tourist has gone before." with the addition of effects such as hearing "Warp engines are off line" when the ride stalls and the ability to have sex with as may alien women as you can, this overlay will make at least one Disneyland fan very happy.
3. Disney's Under-watched Cartoon Spectacular
Tired of the obscenely popular, award winning, probably-the-greatest-achievement-in-movie-making-in-the-last-twenty-years Pixar movies in the parks? Disney hears you and is making this show for you. Staring your favorites Fflewddur Fflam, Fergus Flamingo, and the mighty King Leonidas! Watch as they engage in mildly exciting and very nostalgic antics all to the tune of kids asking "What's that?"
