Ever embarrassed of your Disney obsession(s) ?

So I was wondering..A few of my friends always try to hide their obsession with Disney, when people ask them or they ask to go to the park they dont say that they come here all the time!! I personally dont care because I love the park and i'll let it be known! But is anybody out there ever embarrassed to talk about how much their obsessed with the park and Disney? This is not to make anybody feel bad or anything whatsoever!! just curious

Everyone knows about my love for DL! They have stopped poking fun at me because they realize it's such a joy for me and my family. We don't have Disney decor in the house, but, we do love to visit the parks. My home office does have some POTC stuff in it, but, overall...it's just our love of the parks!

I always get made fun of for my obsession with the park! My friends like Disneyland but they dont get my obsession and really niether do I. I just love the parks so much! They are magical and exciting. I do decorate in Disney. My entire room is pretty much a tribute to the characters. My obsesssion has become sort of a joke really. But I love that everyone knows! I like it that they know who to come to if the have a question about disney or want to plan a trip to the park.

    C'mon everybody, here we go!

I'm not embaressed of it, but I've discovered there are right and wrong places to talk about it.

right place: Eating out with friends
wrong place: During group work in class
St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Themed parks. Protect us from break downs, long lines, and used gum. Amen.

I have a lot of Disney rarities, most CM and TDR (my favorites being my opening cast Fant! lithograph and my Fant! commorative signed lithograph..WDW versions). I recently bought a new house and when I was looking I knew I wanted a 3 bedroom. I changed that to a 4 bedroom so I could make one room the Disney/Office. The only thing I have outside of that room is my Noah Tinkerbell painting, it's too beautiful to hide away in a room. I, personally, would like all my Disney out but I have had 2 men break up with me because I had too much Disney throughout the house. Christmas decorations don't count...the holiday Disney comes out.

I don't hide my Disney obsession (or any of them for that matter). But my friends and family know when I've been looking at Disney fun facts... the best thing is when you're waiting in line for a ride (or even better, on the ride) and you start spewing out random facts about the ride or the queue: "Did you know that if you fell out of your boat in Peter Pan, at the part with all the stars, you'd be impaled?" XD I told this to my Dad as we were at that bit in the ride. He says I have too much time on my hands. XD

I have never been embarrassed about my disney/disney parks obsession. I actaully like making it known. Because people like family and friends will come to me with questions that i could answer to make their trip better, i will even use my disney knowledge to help other guests at the resorts that might not know about things at the resort that they could do to make their visit more enjoyable.

I guess so. However, I don't remember where I read that...so I could be wrong. I'm not keen to try it either...

I tell all of my friends, but I don't tell jerks at school who I know will never let me live to go to DL again (not that anything will stop me!)
