So who traveled the farthest to 2nd Anniv Meet?

All weekend I kept hearing impressive stories about how far people had traveled to come to the 2nd Anniv. Meet - I think I heard that someone came from Australia!

Maybe those of you who traveled from afar could post here and tell us about your travels to the meet!

I don't think I traveled farthest, but I came from about 400 miles away. We left the meet Sunday night at about 10pm, got home at 4am, and then I had to wake up at 6am to go to work! But, it was all worth it. And Rixter, thanks for the cookies!

Victoria and I didn't come from very at all. Woodland Hills is only about 50 miles from Disneyland. BUT... due to the vagueries of the Los Angeles and Orange County freeway systems, the trip to the park was nearly 3 hours. The trip home was about 2 1/2.

There's something wrong when you're on a freeway traveling 20 mph and hear yourself saying, "OK... now we're really moving!"
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

I came in from Albuquerque - drove 10 hours both ways - unfortunately I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted too - but there will be many more meets, I hope....

Don't remind me *grumble* I intended to be there for the two weeks either side of the 2 year meet. Work got in the way so I'm still sitting at my desk in Australia. *twitch*

I love Twinmom and her sister! They are in my avatar. They are still at the park today.

Twinmom's sister actually won a hat for travelling the furthest. She's awesome, too!
