the tugging wasn't him tugging, it was him gripping the knob to open the case. He was trying to stay behind me while opening it, and since I was walking somewhat fast the tugging wasn't from him tugging but rather him trying to open it...Who knows. Maybe he would have given up if I hadn't noticed. I dunno.

You may think it was just from him trying to open it, but i don't doubt that there was a bit of tugging on his part to get your attention. It's not like he is going to tap you on the shoulder and motion to you that he is go to attempt to steal your camcorder in order to play around with you.

If you still hadn't turned around and ignored the playfulness, then yes he might have just given up if the bag hadn't opened or he may have in fact tapped you on the shoulder to interact with you.

Just kidding, I don't believe he "punched" him in the face. I firmly believe that kid DID something to cause that response. I think he like pinched his back or something like that...wasn't natural when he put his arm around his back like that...Plus he was smiling when he was punched. Who smiles when you just got punched? and if it supposedly hurt so bad, why, again, was he smiling?

Also, would be very stupid of the CM to actually steal your camera. How many of them are dressed as B'rer Fox on a particular day in a particular spot of the park? They could easily get themselves fired if they did anything intentional such as stealing your camera. I mean, if it were Mickey, maybe it would be a little harder because they're so many Mickeys in the park. But B'rer Fox?

I had Hook take my camcorder bag I set down, Baloo and Genie chase me down for food, and a pirate got into my wife bag. It's all part of chaaracter, I've never had a problem with any characters, just people.

Ok, if you REALLY think Brer Fox was trying to 'steal your camcorder', did you report it to City Hall? Did you call the Anaheim Police Department? If not, you're just tryin' to raise muck! What would Brer Fox do with a camcorder? I've known Brer Fox for decades, and he don't like camcorders. He's got a hankerin' for rabbit now an again...but not camcorders. We characters get mighty bored, an' da public wants to be entertained; and we try different things to interact with peoples. <Ha> My favorites were pullin' down a visor down over a face, an standin' like a statue; boy did those women folk sure jump when I moved! Bottom line, if'n ya doesn't like characters, stay away from us!

One of the pirates tried to take my bag when me and my friends were eating at Cafe Orleans (we had a table right by the fence). It was sitting on the chair next to me and he reached around with a cane and tried to lift it, but I had so much crap in there that it was too heavy and he couldn't! I didn't even notice at first because I was eating and not paying attention. It was pretty funny and my friends were just laughing! I didn't have a problem with it, it was part of the character The pirates always seem to pick on me anyway (never my friends), once they scared me from behind while in line for POTC!

I guess one good way for anti-pirate theft is to carry around a pound of stuff in your purse!
