The Nemo's Niche shop is a small kiosk, previously a ticket booth, across from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. So, the reference to Nemo in the shop is not from Finding Nemo, but Captain Nemo, from that film. Thus, you might want to omit that from your list.

Also, wouldn't the original Sorcery in the Sky Fireworks at MGM be considered a Fantasia entry, with its giant Sorcerer Mickey inflatable balloon, as well as large sections of music taken from Fantasia?

One final thing, the AristoCats shop, as well as the Sword in the Stone ceremony, are both retired from the MK in WDW.

Great job so far CB!

Thanks so much for diggin up that info on Nemo shop! I removed it and also updated everything else you suggested.

Added the opening titles to Darkwing Duck as well as Lilo & Stitch's Ohana Luau (thanks to Werner's yesterland article).

Does anyone know when Tokyo's Monsters Inc attraction opens?

Just updated to add WISHING STAR MAGIC CRYSTALS shop to Pinocchio. Also added opening title screens for Tail Spin and Goof Troop.

That list is very impressive. I saw a couple of things in regards to Sleeping Beauty that you may want to add if you like.

First, the 3 Good Fairies Magic Crystal shop in the castle is now closed so it can become the accessible experience for the castle walkthrough, and as you know has relocated and slightly rethemed to Pinocchio.

Second, Maleficent is a very prominent part of Fantasmic!, so you may want to add it to the attractions from Sleeping Beauty.

Third, although the carousel is King Arthur's Carousel from The Sword in the Stone, it features artwork from Sleeping Beauty, so it kind of covers two films.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback!

Three Fairies closed: check.
Fantasmic! under Sleeping Beauty: check

King Arthur's Carousel under Sleeping Beauty: I'm kinda iffy on that. Sleeping Beauty does in fact get featured on the attraction, but it really could be any movie that's on there. I think Sleeping Beauty is on there because it's behind Sleeping Beauty Castle....

I dunno, what does everyone else think? Should I put the Carousel under Sleeping Beauty or is it just pure decoration and not worth mentioning?

Well the carousel is based on the story of Sleeping Beauty and since your trying to assign every attraction to a movie, then it should be under Sleeping Beauty.

You sure are on top of this Dave!

I think you could fit it under both Sleeping Beauty and The Sword in the Stone using the same reasons for fitting multiple films within Fantasmic. And although it is named after The Sword in the Stone, I tend to associate it more with Sleeping Beauty since the artwork depicted is all from Sleeping Beauty. (Plus the official DLR musical album features Once Upon A Dream from the carousel as part of the music).

Re: Disney Rides and the Animated Films that Inspired them

I just added the main title for WALL-E and updated Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland for opening this year.

Can anyone else think of anything that has been added recently that's animated film inspired? I know the stores in around Fantasyland got some new names... Enchanted something. Would it just a generic name or actually inspired off their 2007 hit ENCHANTED?

Any ideas?

Not sure I can answer your questions, but noticed Panchito's is listed under Saludos Amigos, but Panchito doesn't appear in that movie. He only appears in Three Caballeros.

Everyone here who posted in this thread has contributed greatly. And looking at the date I posted it, it's about two months short of a year in the making.

Wow... has it been that long.
