2 or three weeks ago at one of the Sunday meets, almondot gave a HISTA FP to one of the CM's. He got the FP from Sadako who had just gone to WDW. I couldn't believe they actually had FP's for that ride. The CM was quite confused but he knew it was a joke when about 5 people ran up with camera's laughing.
If you REALLY REALLY REALL want to see a picture, there is one almost at the end of my 1-14-07 Trip Report
One of the skippers who is no longer around looooved playing pranks. Turning off the breaker for the PA, backing up the river so that the particular skipper he was pranking would have to take extremely long trips, stuff like that. It seemed like it was his goal in life to get as many skippers as possible to laugh so hard that they couldn't keep spieling. *sigh* I miss him.
Cinderella IV: The Bloodening
"It's okay, Beaker, we're scientists. We get paid to fail."
considering that their job is to do whatever they can to ensure that our visit to the disneyland resort is a magical one they work hard to make that possible and I think that it is absolutely disrespectful to them to play a joke or prank on them.
I have a friend that works NOS attractions, and we sneak up on her all the time and give her a good scare. It's all in good fun, and we make sure we aren't disruptive to other guests.
We've also joked/conversed with other random CMs that we spend the time to talk to, like ones in a store, or City Hall, or at the Main Street Opera House.
I'm sure it's cool when you actually know the person. What I'm talking about is the middle aged father who goes to the height check and insists that he is not tall enough and snickers off like he was the first person who has ever done that. Or the guests who "jokingly" ask to go through the fast pass line and then get all pouty when the castmember jokingly says no.
