Memorial Day Weekend photos

Ok, so I was brave/stupid enough to try to go to the park today. It was crazy out there. Here are some pics of the crowds, a preview of what we'll see in the middle of July I'm sure.

The crowd in Adventureland was not moving at all.

The queue for It's a Small World went all the way up to the motor boat lagoon and back and forth along where the queue splits in two, plus the line of people stretched down the parade route.

More of the IASW queue

the line to see Snow White was solidly stretched up the walkway into Toontown.

Crowds even back near Pooh

Rabbit makes an appearance, as Tigger hides from the mob than jumped over the rope to get to the pair.

Big Thunder Trail with crowds

Random shot of some guy wearing a Jango Fett helmet walking around

Castle crown

IASW in DL is very impressive, the WDW IASW was recently painted to resemble the the DL facade and added the clock, I have a ton of IASW pics from DL, feel free to PM me if you'd like to see more.

Great pics!

But I could still see sidewalk occasionally, wont be like that on the 17th

And that line for IaSW is insane. Doesn't usually get like that until the holiday layover.

Wow, if DLR is this busy in May - this summer will be insane.

I was there this morning for a few hours and it was amazingly quiet! But then again, I left about 10:30 just when it was starting to get crazy. I'm sure it looked a lot like that by the afternoon.

I think RU42 and I know that guy in the Star Wars helmet.

the guy with the helmet was with a group wearing Magic Music Days tshirts, so don't know if that helps you know if it's him or not.

I got to the park around 1:00 today and waits for the attractions were long all over, I went to Village Haus to get something to eat around 3:30, I figured it wouldn't be too bad with being after the noon hour and with the parade starting people would be lining up, i was wrong. it took the longest I've ever waited there. after I ordered it was 15 minutes or so before the kitchen was caught up, they were swamped.

Man....I feel bad for Fantoongal now. I know she works there, and I am sure that they were probably still understaffed. Thanks for the pics Anders!

I didn't see Fantoongal there, but I did see her friend who rode Jungle Cruise with us Friday night, she looked a little stressed out, so I didn't get a chance to say hi.
