Spook House attraction for Paradise Pier

I know a few readers have suggested a dark ride spook house for paradise pier. I think I thought of something beyond that. So TSMM is coming and there has been an idea for Disney version of a Tunnel of Love maybe in CA Screamin's west helix, how about a Spook House in DCA's Paradise Pier. ANd to make it more Disney, have it filled with Disney villains. I think the Paradise Pier shops (Man Hat n Beach, Tattoo, etc) MIGHT be enough room. I'm not sure, haven't been in this area for a while. Then PP's shops could take the space of the midway games.

As a result, Paradise Pier could have 3 distinct dark rides: TSMM, Spook House, Tunnel of Love. All unique for a pier setting.

That's just the basic thought, haven't gone more into it yet.

Please don't post "Turn DCA into a parking lot", "Pixarland", the usual suspects.

I'm not even sure I'd want to expand on Paradise Pier more than it already is. I'd like to see how the placemaking changes the landscape before I really put much thought into it.

Though I don't think I'd like a tunnel of love ride in the slightest. A mickey mouse fun house walk-through attraction might be kinda fun if done right.

I actually like that idea. Possibly make the Tunnel of Love based on Disney Princesses and Princes.

I would like to see the Disney Villains Spook House, but have the doors actually open by censor and not having to hit the walls to enter each room.

I don't know what else. I would say a swinging ship and base it off of Captain Hooks ship?

Nah. It'd be bigger and the ride would last longer. Like the swinging ship ride at Santa Cruz.

How about the Tunnel of Spook Love, in which guests witness the love between spooks and ghosts of the nations of the world.

I shall call it "It's a Small Ghoul".

or if you have never been on the one at Santa Cruz. It would be like the swinging ship at Knott's Berry Farm if you have been there, Hench.

Tunnel of Love- maybe, might not fit in with everything else
Spook House- we already have a haunted mansion, it'd have to be a different concept
If we chase the stars to lose our shadow, Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine.

I'd be down for a Tunnel Of Love of sorts. Like someone else said it could be based on the princes and princesses of Disney.

As for the "Spook House," I'd have to say no. As has been said before Disneyland already has one of those.

Personally I'd like them to just get rid of Maliboomer (although I do love it) since there's already TOT. That would free up some more room and then they could put in another cool dark ride, or perhaps something more original.

A Tunnel of Love with Disney couples WOULD be cute, but who would it appeal to exactly? Children too young to understand anything past Minnie kissing Mickey, sure, but teens and adults would only lead to one thing... and there are already enough threads on this board mentioning the annoyance of public displays of affection... or worse!

A Tunnel of DOOM, however, with Disney Villains... makes me salivate just thinking about it!!! *gurgle* *Doooooom* I want to be an Imagineer like RIGHT NOW!
