Where are the Three Little Pigs?

One of my earliest memories at DL is seeing the 3 pigs and big bad wolf. Since I have become a recent visitor, I haven't seen them there at all. Do they no longer appear at the park? Are they located in some area that I'm not visiting enough? If there gone, when did they stop showing up?

I'm thinking it's expensive to pay all three to walk around when you can have just one Woody or one Donald walking around. That's my theory. Also, with the pigs you usually have to add the wolf too. So that's four characters walking around as a set. Cheap-o Disney probably likes to save money by just having single characters marching around.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that one. I saw Mary Poppins, a penguin and Bert all walking around together. They also have Tigger, Eyore and Winnie the Pooh all out at the same time in Critter Country.

You have to go to Paris or Japan to see them anymore. My avatar is from Paris. I went RUNNING after Le Grand Mechant Loup when I saw him in Paris dragging Evil Minion with me to photograph. He saw me, opened his arms wide and welcomed me to Paris. I LOVE HIM!

My very first pic in the park was with a piggy.

I'm sure with the pigs and wolf, there are height requirement (short or tall) that must be met for those extreme size characters.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

I haven't seen a Dumbo meet and greet character at DIsneyland. Actually, I haven't seen Dumbo at any of the parks recently.

Opened his jaws wide, more like it.

Too bad about no pigs of late. One of my favorite character interactions of all time occurred when Practical Pig, with no warning, walked over to my friend and knocked the silly-looking mousears off his head.

I've love Practical Pig ever since.

And I miss all the pigs.

This is all really too bad. Like I said above, the pigs are one of my earliest memories (I think we got them on video, which is probably why). If I were to see them there one day, it would really bring back those childhood memories.

I think the Dumbo you are thinking of is the one they had at the 50th kickoff ceremony- but I think that he was only brought out for that.....

I imagine Miss Piggy might be a bit jealous if any other pigs got too much attention

Yes! BBW does come out on Halloween along with some other pretty rare villans like Maleficent, Jafar, Shan-Yu, Hades, Stromboli, Frolo, and The Hag.

But, I've never seen the BBW at any other time doing a meet and greet other than Halloween - except in the 1960's and 70's.
