Well, perhaps this will discourage people from bringing everything they own with them for a day at a theme park. Just get a small locker for jackets (or have each person carry their own jacket in their backpack or around their waist) and check any purchases you don't want to carry around all day. Other than that, everything you need should fit into one backpack (okay, maybe two if you have a few kids). Seriously, people, you're not going camping.

I think it was more than one dollar difference. I got a medium locker two weeks ago for $6 and a Large for $8 (not at the same time)
I don't bring my entire life. But when I fly down, and cant check into my hotel til after 3, putting my backpack with my stuff in a locker is nice.
I'm still going to pay it, I like only having to carry my camera and a bit of money. It keeps me from buying too much if I don't have the cash on me.
Most often found at a theme park

Then again, a single small locker can generate over $2500 of revenue per year. How many lockers are there in Main St alone? 500? That's about $1,250,000 in revenue per year. Sounds like a cash cow to me.

That I understand. I went straight from the plane to MGM when I went to Florida, so I had to carry around my rather heavy bag all day. It wasn't terribly pleasant, but meh, I don't really mind.

I used to bring a full backpack worth of stuff with me to the park, but it was a pain on rides, and I found that I never used the stuff in there anyway. Now, I'll usually go to the park with nothing more than my little purse. What's the point of bringing all that stuff to Disneyland if it's just going to stay in a locker all day?

Well, nobody ever said the dreams were free, or even cheap for that matter.

I'm not sure of the exact arrangments, but I actually think it's an outsourced concession, just like Crystal Arts, Heraldry, and such. The manufacturer's of the equipment, Smarte Carte, are who you're actually paying.

Obviously Disney gets paid, so it could be Smarte Carte passing along the Disney increase, or Smarte Carte of your money to parte!

I thought they were already expensive enough! I can see DL raising thier prices for the actual park due to new attractions and whatnot, but its not like they are putting millions of dollars into lockers!

Man, *&%$ that! If I need to get my stuff I can just go back to my car, a little inconvenient, but no biggie. I can think of better ways to waste my money than $7 for a tiny locker.
