Silly question, contain your laughter please

Ok guys, heres one to make you laugh.

Wayyyy long ago when Space Mountain was being refurbed I heard about the possibility of putting a loop in the new version.
Just today I was reading the website DisneyLies.com (very funny, you would all enjoy it). Now I realize that it is a website of lies created to be funny, but a line in the Space Mountain description said that there is a loop in the new one but its so dark you don't notice it.
Because I had heard the true loop rumor, this caused me to second guess the fact that there isn't one, especially because the website is lies that come from truths or are based on truths.
I know that usually when you experience a loop you feel the g-forces, and I have been on the new Space Mountain and haven't felt it.
But still...just to make sure....there's not a loop in Space Mountain, is there?

No, there's not. The track layout of the new Space Mountain is identical to the old track layout, though the support structures have been slimmed down to reduce the risk of guest injury. The design is so complex and twisty that adapting it while keeping it in the same space would have been nearly impossible.

Oh, thats not true, it has the second largest horizontal loop in the park. Second only to the Disney land RR.

No loop and even if it was some illusion and you actually did go in a loop, it is so bright now, you can see every support beam a piece of track on the whole ride so I am absolutely positive that there is no loop

I thought I was the only one who thought it was really bright in there. I'm glad it wasn't just me.

    Loop = shoulder restraints.
    Space Mountain <> shoulder restraints.
    Space Mountain <> loop.

When 20 LED lights are shining and flashing on just one turn, I would call that bright

Just sos you know, that loop thing, ever since it's initiation as a rumor, has been a running gag on these boards.

I doubt that Disneyland park will ever have a loop.

The monorail's horizontal loops in the park are pretty big, too.

    Thanks!
That shoulder restraint point is an especially good one.

MM's Revolution had no shoulder restraints for a long time. Back when it was a good roller coaster.

But for what it's worth...the incredible Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris does have a loop inside.
