    Characters dissed @ Disneyland

This thread is devoted to the characters that seemed to be shunned at Disneyland. Whether it be with lack of attraction, shirts, hats, plushes, face characters, anything really. There are many movies and characters that remain favorites to fans around the world, but good luck finding them there.

Robin Hood: One of my favorites, and I know there's ALOT of fans out there, but good luck finding one thing Robin Hood related.

Mr. Smee: I can't remember the last time I saw him at the park, it's been years. Since playing Smee in a show I've been dying for a pic with him... the last time I saw him was on the Fantasmic! finale on the Mark Twain (with the good guys of all people... didn't get it either).

Merch for other Pan characters: ENOUGH TINKERBELL!!!!!! With the exception of a couple hats and expensive costumes, you can't find squat with the other characters.

Oliver in Company: I was shocked when a 13 year old friend of mine knew about this movie. Apparently my generation isn't the only one who loves it. "One minute I'm in Central Park..." Great, now I have to download the album.

Hunchback: One of the most beautiful animated films of all time, a smash hit. NOT A DANG THING I CAN THINK OF!

Sleeping Beauty: Granted, she has the castle... but what non Disney buffs could actually tell you? Often it's Mickey's Castle, Cinderella's Castle

And to think that Brer Bear and Fox get more face time then these...

Your thoughts? Anybody else you would like to see get more respect?

What about Ratigan? He's one of the most vile Disney villain's created! Vincent Price did a wonderful job bringing him to life in my opinion. This character should get more recognition.

I'd love to see him in the park more often.

I'd like to see more of the Three Fairies from Sleeping Beauty. My favorite of that movie though is Maleficent, they have some stuff of her, but not enough. Any other small, background characters too. Oliver & Company is a good example too. They could make plushies of Oliver, Dodger, etc. They have them of Lady & the Tramp and Marie from The Aristocats. I'd like to see stuff that isn't Buzz Lightyear, Tinker Bell, or princess-related.

I agree about Hunchback. My 10 year old daughter loves that movie and the music in it very underrated. She collects pins and Disneyland has no pin for this feature.

The only pin I could find other than Ebay was at the Disney outlet on Harbor.

Both Mr. Toad merch and actual characters in the park would be awesome. How cool would it be to see a parade where Mr. J. Thaddius is driving crazily down the parade route with his motormania?!

To see some older 'shorts' stars would be cool also such as Pete and Ludwig Von Drake.

Hunchback characters USED to be by the Village Haus in Fantasyland - we met all of the characters there, autographs, pix, etc.

Pochantas and friends aren't out anymore

I see Smee, Peter, Wendy, Hook on the walkway to Matterhorn by Ariel

    Atlantis characters aren't out anymore

Briar Fox and Bear aren't out anymore

    Prince Charming's aren't out anymore

Cinderella's Fairy Godmother isn't out anymore

Who else????? I've always had a major complaint about characters not out at the park - that just makes more for the fantasy - kids love it cause they can relate so much to these characters and it is just plain fun

Don't even let me get started on the lack of Villains merchandise at the parks .

At least in the last few years, they've brought out some Villains for meet and greets

That not totally true on Fairy Godmother & Bere Fox. I have seen them latly. The last time I saw them was on Dec. 30th. Fairy Godmother I saw in the Princess Fantasy Faire & as for Bere Fox I saw him walking to the back of Cental Plaza in Main Street right were the photo shop is. I saw him posting a picture with some guys acking like he was a gangester and stelling a girls Captain Jack Sparrow hat.
