Easter Day Buffet at the DL Hotel

Today is the first day to make your priority seating arrangements for the Easter Day Buffet in the Grand Ballroom at the DL Hotel.

These events usually sell out fairly early, so call Disney Dining at 714-781-DINE if you want to go.

Adults (10 and over) are $57 and kids 9 and under are $14.50. PAP discounts apply. They have seating times available from 10am to 3pm.

We've been to all of these events (Mother's Day, Easter and Thanksgiving) multiple times at the DL Hotel and even though the initial price might seem high, once you see all of the choices of food that is available, and the DESSERT bar, overall it is a Tiggerific value. They also have a huge kid's food area as well. It's all you-can-eat.

Personally, I do some serious damage to the cracked crab legs and prawn bowls in the appetizer/salad area. Mmmmm good!

They have live music, plenty of photo-taking displays and Character meet and greets.

Does anyone know if AP and or CM discounts apply? We usually go to that other theme park down the road, but I am thinking of saving up and all of my family go to DL instead...

2 questions. Does the menu have enough to eat for someone who is a vegetarian? Would my grandmother who's 82 years old enjoy it? She likes Disney stuff so I'm guessing she'd be okay.

No, no payment up front is required.

They used to take a card to hold a ressie though, but no longer.

No menu to order from, buffet only. PLENTY to munch on. Lots of salads, fruits/veggies. Side dishes and I believe I recall a veggie lasagna type dish. You might try calling Disney Dining and ask them to be sure. They used to post the food list on a site devoted to the Buffets, but I didn't see one for this event yet.

I'm sure your grandmother would enjoy the Buffet. The food tables are spread out, so you aren't too far away from one. Plus, you can request a table close to the food serving area if walking is an issue. Plenty of goodies to eat, plus since it is a buffet, she can pick and choose what she would like to eat.

And you can't miss the dessert table! Mmmmmm good!

They have a few different large "serving" tables with a variety of food on each. This is just a sampling. They should be posting a menu list soon (if not already).

Their carving station usually has ham, turkey, roast beef and their related condiments.

The appetizer table has the shrimp, crab, salads (mac, potato, green, ceasar, etc...) along with cheese, smoked salmon, breads, and a lot of other stuff that I can't recall, but were good. Soups too.

There is another table with the side dishes like asparagus, potatoes, fish dishes, pre-made pasta as well as a pasta station for special requests, etc...

And of course, the dessert bar. Lots of stuff there including made to order crepes, cakes, pies, mousse, and the chocolate FOUNTAIN. Mmmm good!
