    It was the GE company that wanted the COP relocated and also to change the theme sone to , "Now is the Time".

    I am just so amazed that GE could not have guessed better about the theme song. Whenever I think COP the song is the first thing that pops in your mind!

    I remember the tremendous sense of optimism that most people had about the future in the early 60's. The COP was a ride that showed that as long as people believed and had hope and worked hard that tomorrow would always be better than yesterday. Of course those were generations that strongly believed in taking responsibility for one's own actions, they had a sense of duty and obligation to their country, their neighborhoods and fellow men. Values that most members of Micechat still embrace. To me, Disneyland is an island of civilization in a sea of self absorbed barbarism.

    I went on it several times as a kid. I miss it as well, but I liked America Sings, too. I loved how it was we, the audience, that moved from genre to genre.
    I give two thumbs down for what they have there now.
