just a quick remark. Remember these are just quick handrawn concept sketches.
The final art for the atraction (that will be in 3d) is still being worked on.
Also notice the first picture. The eggs that are hitting the picture but not targets are actually bouncing back. Now imagine this image with 3d glasses and eggs bouncing back at the guest shooting.
The attraction will have ineteractive 3d film as well as air, scents and other effects that will make this attraction extremely interactive.
This is not you regular buzz lightyear or "c" ticket darkride. This attraction is gearingmore towards a very highly enteractive and detailed "d" darkride thatis also getting the attention of John Lassitor.
From what I hear, Disney is calling this their new E ticket, not D. Unfortunately, it fails to tantilize me. Other concept art had me saying "oooh, I can't wait till I see that in person. I can't wait till I get to experience that part." Oooh, I can't wait till I get to play that online video game??? Oh, it's in 3D, so that makes it work. Just like all those 3D classics of the 50's and 60's.
I totally agree with NickCharles on this one. I'm not losing sight that it may be absolutely wonderful and perhaps even be *E* ticket worthy, but by what I've read and seen (so far), I'm not impressed.
We already have Buzz Lightyear at Disneyland, and even tho this new attraction is supposed to be different, I just feel the concept is pretty much the same. I still wish they would have put in a Little Mermaid attraction right there, cuz it would have fit perfectly next to King Triton's Carousel.
But like I said, I will pass judgement on it when I'm walking off TSM for the first time next year!
