Night Shots in the Park

I recently acquired a small Gorillapod for my little digital camera, and it makes it
so much easier to take night shots. These are my favorite types of shots, so I
thought I'd post the results of my visit Friday night.

Dumbo

Peter Pan

Autopia and the Matterhorn

Deserted Autopia

Monorail Station

Observatron

Space Mountain

Tommorowland Overview

Astro Orbiter

Castle at the end of the Night

A Nice Pair

Nearly Empty Main Street

Cinema

Money Shot

Emporium

Beautiful!
You got the castle on a night virtually without sky-glow, meaning this was definitely not last night.

great shots. I wish that would work with my camera, but it's far to heavy.

I love the emptiness of the park. that's how it always is in my dreams..

Nice job Milo! Closing time, the best time to get those shots without the crowds.

You should check out one of the two larger Gorillapods they make.
The largest accommodates up to 6.6 pounds.

yes, it would...without a doubt. It would eliminate camera shake and work like a tripod.

Oh yeah, unless you have a camera with super high ISO settings (above 400), you need
some sort of tripod to steady the shot while the shutter stays open.

If you don't have a tripod, you can always find a convenient trash bin on which to set
your camera. That kind of limits the angle at which you can take your shots though.

Here's a trash bin shot I took. The results are a bit crooked but still interesting enough:
