    Monorail Man’s 2-11 Trip Report w/ Photos

Deciding at the spur of the moment, the dark and rainy time in the High Desert urged me to go to DL. So, I figured that a fun day with MiceChatters was always in order!

Conditions driving down were rough, lots of rain and fog.

A short line into the structure around 11.

As Darkbeer reported, the only RHCP advertisements we’re at the parks.

I met up with Crazy Legs before the meet, and we decided to explore a bit before the meet.

A wet and soggy Entry Plaza was host to a gaggle of yellow safety cones and tape.

The Disneyland band marches down a wet Main Street.

Around 11:30, Star Tours had a 25 minute line. We knew this would be a busy day!

After grabbing some Rockin’ Space Mountain fastpasses, it was off to the Hub!

However, we spotted the new Autopia picture machines, and grabbed a pic.

The noon meet was surprisingly large for it being a rainy morning. We ended up having about 15 people there. It was great.

Crazy Legs, Sam, and frodo potter

aerinpegadrak and David Lane enjoy some Valentine lollipops that BFJen brought for everyone!

The girls of the Hub meet; (from left to right) Deogge's Mom, Disneyphile, judimouse, and BfJen!

Pezz Lightyear showed up, and he was a dream winner. His dream? Irrelevant, but he got a free photo from Disney.

After hanging around, we were all hungry. So, a few of us headed off to Whitewater.

    And we're off!

    almandot tests his camera.

Darkbeer explains Walt’s partners pose to everyone.

    Enjoying Lunch

After lunch, it’s back to Disneyland. However, we’ll cut through DCA.

Crazy Legs wasn’t so lucky, getting trapped inside DCA behind another guest.

The Fireshouse band was playing on Main Street.

It was just about time for the Single Riders meet, so we headed over to the wishing well.

Seeing the dream swan today was a good thing, because we knew that it was a wishful day.

However, without our kind Dustysage, a meet staple was missing. Pocky! However, we all looked deep into our hearts, and wished for Pocky.

POCKY! Ahh, Disney dreams do come true.

However, with all the pocky commotion going on, Peter Pan came to investigate.

Crazy Legs tries to get Peter Pan to try some pocky.

    But he refuses.

It was time to head off from the Single Rider’s meet, he’s one final look.

We ran back into Disneyphile and the rest of the group, and decided that Pirates was in order.

Sadako and Crazy Legs gracefully wait for a boat.

    Pillaging pirates await the unload.

After Pirates, we went into the Tiki room, where aerinpegadrak was a wonderful host.

Our Space Fastpasses we’re good to go, so we headed over there.

It was a rockin’ good time?

After Space, we headed over to the Matterhorn for some bobsleddin’ fun.

The majestic peak awaits our arrival.

    A race through the mountain.

As we left the Matterhorn, we noticed that Alice had gone 101. Little did these people know they would appear on MiceChat.

Before Dinner, we figured that Jungle Cruise was a great stop. We had the strangest skipper in a long time. Like a cross between The Fonz, but with a 1930's accent.

Finally, for the night, we decided to grab some dinner. We ended up deciding on the River Belle Terrace. I had their rib plate, and it was very good. Plenty filling, and hearty. Their cornbread was a perfect topper to the meal.

Many us us enjoy our meal.

Unfortunatly, this is where my day ends. With college signups today, and other issues, I couldn’t stay as late as I wanted. However, we had a wonderful day, and I bid the group ado.

The park was getting busy as I left.

A lonely walk back to the structure.

    The End!

Hey, guys. Sorry I didn't hang out with you guys very long. I was with my family and we were only staying until about 1:00 P.M, so I had to leave. Sorry, no pictures this week, as my parents took my camera..

I wish I was with you guys to enjoy Pocky. I like that stuff too. Stubborn Peter Pan! He wouldn't eat the damn thing. I bet if Wendy was with him, she would want him to try it. He would like it, I mean, come on, it's chocolate for crying out loud!

    Good trip report, overall.

Oh those Pocky pics are fabulous!!!
Wishing well wishes DO come true!!
I can't believe Peter didn't want any... He's just a chocolate purist at heart
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
