like melmel said....it's tough to patrol this...usually it's just those first breaks that are supposed to get out during the lunch rush.....those are usually late, and how late depends on the line...today we were only an hour behind, not too bad, i guess. It's even worse on the leads though. I wanna make sure that all of my cast members have had something first, and that if i leave for mine the place wont fall apart, lucky for me today, i had 2 managers running food/drinks for me on counter, so when i left everything was cool...it was after almost 6 hrs of work though. but once i came back it was very chill, and i had a chance to do all my lead stuffs...

Denny's across the street is better food than just about anything inside the berm - that's a terrifying statement. Even with the walk out and across, and return to the park, it takes less time out of our visit to go there than eat inside the Kingdom.

My friend (who has never been to DL) and her friend (who hasn't been to DL in like 10 years) are going today. My only advice: Be prepared to wait in food lines.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

No change for me really. I usually bring a cooler. Other than the occaisional meal, we really only get snacks when we are in the park.

    Snacks and lots of candy!

    Ouch...

I will be sure and thank (and appreciate) the quality CM's that we come in contact with more often. Keep up the good work. You all deserve a raise!
No, Disneyphile said she'd work here IF CMs got paid that much. They don't.

So just how do you CM's afford to live in Orange County? What does a 2 room apartment go for these days? $1000 a month?

    Parents' house.
Or independently wealthy -- a job may not be the only source of income.
A two-room apartment, in an area that most would feel comfortable living, is probably about $1600-$2000.

A studio-sized apartment, in walking distance to DLr would be the only feasible way for someone living alone and dependent only on the paycheck. And even that might not do it.

Many are college students as well, with loans and grants that cover housing, one would presume.
And lots of roommates, I'd imagine.

    I didn't have any idea...

As usual, the hardest workers get the least amount of pay.
