Pipeek's First Photo Report w/ Fantasmic Farewell

Hello everyone. This is my first photo report as well as the first time using my new camera I got. It’s nothing great, but it does a lot better work that my old camera. I’d thought I’d share a few photos with everyone from my trips to the resort on the 9th and 11th. I’ve included a variety of pictures testing out my camera as well as a few Fantasmic photos. Frogberto’s natural lighting ability is still quite overwhelming, but I tried to do a bit of my own. Most of my time at the parks was spent in the evening. Enjoy!



I took quite a few of the Tiki Room after learning what the best night mode settings would be.


I really enjoy this shot.


Later than night, walking to Mansion, I got this picture of Royal Street that turned out a bit like a black and white style.




It even made the mansion look a bit different and moody.

The second day into the park was for a little bit of DCA and a final performance of Fantasmic for a few months. Monsters Inc. started off the evening.


My first time seeing the Aladin show and I loved it.




I’m trying to figure out why the third floor was empty…


And my other question is how long they’ve had scaffolding across the water from Big Thunder. I know they had the tarp up for a while, but this looks a bit different than I remember.


Frogberto’s still got everyone beat on the natural lighting of pirates, but here’s a few of my better attempts.

I wonder if they were waving extra hard?


And a delicious box of treats that still shows Ursula as a larger part of the show with her long gone float.

It was Sunday night at 10:30. I had heard rumors about the show lasting through next weekend as well, so I asked one of the CMs who was working on getting the speakers ready along the Rivers of America and he told me this was the last showings tonight.
