Any Tips Tricks Ideas On Taking Good Best Great Disneyland Photos?
With all the trip reports featuring various photos of park signs, attractions, Disneyland detail, etc...
well, can everyone with a camera share their Disneyland theme park photo taking tips, tricks, etc.
Include everything and anything regarding the Haunted Mansion interior photo taking tips, signs up close, stuff behind glass, when to use a flash, parade photo taking tips that include the question "should you zoom in, should you not zoom in", best use of the sun glare, etc.

The best tip I can give you is get to know your camera well. Don't just rely on fully automatic mode, shutter or aperture priority can be your friend! Even using full manual mode may be called for those special shots. The beauty of digital photography is the ability to delete the bad shots without paying for developing (I'm dating myself here). Otherwise practice, practice, practice.
I sure some of our pros around here (Darkbeer, DaddyB) can give you more specifics to the park.

I agree with HDAlien's comment that you have to know your camera. Even many point and shoots have settings for different scenes, or have image stabilization or light sensitivity/ISO that might be turned on and off or adjusted. I bought a new camera three months ago, and only by taking picture after picture at different settings could I find out what worked for me.
For outdoor shots around the park, I prefer wide angle shots:

For parade shots, I prefer to get up close to see the performer's expressions:

For dark rides, I use a shutter speed of 1/60th or faster, depending on the ride speed.

For the Matterhorn, which goes faster and is bumpier, I even used 1/250th to capture this "on ride" picture:

To get a blur out of spinning rides, waterfalls, etc., a shutter speed of 1/30th or slower is needed:

Froggy, you are just as good as a professional. I would love to be able to take photos like you, but it seems it's impossible with the average joe Olympus digital camera. It looks like I need a 'proper' one. :( Awesome, awesome photos.
Re: Any Tips Tricks Ideas On Taking Good Best Great Disneyland Photos?
Thanks for the info Froggy and I appreciate your breath taking pictures! Wow to them!
Re: Any Tips Tricks Ideas On Taking Good Best Great Disneyland Photos?
I don't think I can do that kind of stuff with my camera. I have a Kodak EZ Share Camera C310 and I just don't think I can play with things like shutter speed and such. If anyone knows the trick with that camera, please let me know.

After looking at your website, I'd say you're doing pretty well!
What camera are you using?

Thanks -- I'm no professional, and that's not a man, baby!
