I looked when we went on Pirates but I didn't see it!
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
For some reason, I know what you guys are talking about. I remember one time, 3 or 4 years ago, it was 9:00 at night (late for me back then)and I was looking up at the 'night' sky. I thought I saw a shooting star and I thought, in my tiredness, that I was just hallucinating. I think my dad pointed it out, but I don't remember.
What!?!? no shooting star thats terrible. I remember on my last trip to disneyland my girlfriend and i got in a fight and split up for a day. So i rode pirates and wished upon the shooting star. Wishing that everything would be okay with us. After we got back we settled and lived hapily ever after.
In POTC and of course BB, when the the boat first starts going, there is a shooting star. It is over the water between the ride and resturant. Its faint and you have to watch for it. Im not sure how it works, a post above said a projector. Ive only seen it once.
Its a nice touch.
(do you think the Finding Nemo Subs line will be under 3 hours by then?)
Imagine a light inside of a wheel. Now picture a small window on one side of the wheel, and the wheel starts rotating. The housing that the wheel is inside has an aperture of about 120 degrees. So when you don't see the star (assuming that it's working) the windowed part of the wheel is rotating through the rest of the assembly.
I sat right next to it when I ate at the BB last October.
