    Re: Birthday Question

Just ask, pretty much anywhere. City Hall and the Info Board definitely have them, but most attractions have a few sitting around as well.

    Re: Birthday Question

If you go into City Hall close to opening time, you'll probably get a metal button. Later in the day (depending on how busy it is, obviously) they run out and then it's stickers.

    ...by my experience, that is.

Are they printed with the date on them? Or why don't they always have a million buttons on hand to give out?

Also try Main Street Stores. They usually have them as well.

Nope. Not sure why they don't. Maybe they (meaning city hall) are only allowed to give out a certain number each day.

They'll give out as many as people ask for, there's no daily limit, but when they run out, they run out. I would suppose that depends on how often the button manufacturer sends shipments/makes a batch (on property?).

    Re: Birthday Question

I got mine at City Hall, and it was a button. But I have noticed that somedays, DLR resorts back to the red birthday stickers. I guess you just have to hope that they have those spiffy buttons in stock. I remember hearing that you can get a different birthday button at the DLH, but I could (and most likely am) be pulling that out of hot air.

DLH has the traditional blue birthday buttons.

As for including the date, you can always ask the CMs to write it on the button or include the age.

The traditional buttons that the hotels have are white, the buttons that you can get in the park are the new blue ones. The yellow birthday stickers are also floating around, but there aren't very many of them anymore.

As a hotel front desk CM I can say that all I've seen are blue buttons. But then again I've only been working for a few weeks, but it seems to be that blue is all we have. I have seen guests wearing the white ones recently, but I thought it was more something they had saved from previous birthdays sicne they look like something out of the 80's.

    Re: Birthday Question

The blue buttons were introduced with the other YoaMD buttons. Before that, you could get the white birthday buttons at the hotels, and only the stickers in the park. Now the blue buttons are pretty much everywhere, it seems.

Well that explains it then. They don't look very much like they would belong in YoaMD though. Not compared to the other buttons at least.
