Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise

I think it was from WDW, but she said something like, "over here I will point out this large formation of shale...I point it out because most people take it for granite"

    (no one laughs much)

"Oh, come on guys, that joke ROCKS!"

    gotta love it!

Sorry, I don't know what a Maynard original is, but this joke was hilarious, especially the Debbie Baboon part. The first time I heard this was when "You Light Up My Life" first came out and they played it over and over and over again on the radio. When the skipper said it the whole boat just busted out laughing!

Interestingly, during those days, the babboons were placed along ledges on the high rock wall just to the right as you enter the area where the lions are.

It's so unoriginal and stupid but it cracked me up. "I must be butter, cause i'm on a roll". I must of been tired because it amused me then.

At the Rhino Scene as usuall someone was taking pictures. The Skipper said to the guy that "He shouldn't be taking pictures of that, it's disgusting." He also said something along the lines of how his family back home wouldn't appreciate that kind of thing in the photo album.

This was going a bit of the script, but was done very well by the skipper.

That's what we use a lot on canoes. The extended version is: "Well folks, we were out there for so long, I can of felt like we were close, like a family. So, I'm going to share some words of advise with you. These are the same words that my dad gave me on my 18th birthday (it was the day I graduated junior high, a very good day). He said, "Son [he called me son because he thought I was bright], the free ride's over, now get out." That's what he said...and take your mother with you.

That's my favorite OG joke. My second favorite OG joke is: "I hope you folks know what you're getting into today. It's called a boat."

My favorite non-OG jokes ain't getting printed here. Though I do have two words for anyone in the know: Banana Republic.

    Cinderella IV: The Bloodening

"It's okay, Beaker, we're scientists. We get paid to fail."

Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise

One was from back in 2000. My best friend and I had attended an 'NSync concert the night before so we wore our concert tee's proudly to the park the next day. The skipper quipped since he noticed our shirts at the end of the ride.

"Now it's time to say Bye, Bye, Bye to our jungle friends while we get 'NSync with civilization and keep an eye out for those Britney Spears in the bushes"

it was so corny we were laughing pretty hard.

The other one was a line I'm sure is used all the time "So where are you from?". I would reply with Albuquerque, NM. Then he/she says "I'm sorry?" and then we'd repeat it again, and then they'd say "No, really...I'm sorry"
