favorite lines from jungle cruise
mine would have to be this one time where the skipper let a little girl "steer" for him while he talked..and when the natives attacked and he made the sound of them throwing their spears..he pretended to get hit by them and just slumped over dead for like 5 minutes..
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
Mine was years ago my husband (this is his absoloute favorite ride) and I rode the Jungle Ride at closing. After he shot the Hippo, the captain said, that was so much fun, lets go back and do it again, and he reversed the boat backwards, I couldn't believe it, what a great memory!

"Oh and here we have the baboon family; mommy babboon, daddy baboon, baby baboon, and their hairdresser Vidal baboon" This one is super old, I think its a Maynard original
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
I thought the whole tigers (or was it lions?) watching over the dead animal carcass thing was funny the first time. but i guess now its kinda old.

That's a great one. NOT a Maynard original, however. The full joke goes, "There's the baboon family...Pat Baboon, Debbie Baboon, and their hairdresser, Vidal Baboon."
My most consistent laugh getter is at the gorilla right before Schweitzer falls: "Now there's something you don't see every day.....But I do." It's all in the delivery.

Yeah, that one delivered correctly can catch new people off guard. I like it when the skipper gets all serious and says "Here's a little advice that my father gave me.....get out!"
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
A loooong time ago a Skipper told everyone to scoot down as far as they could towards the driver. It's when we loaded, and we all assumed we did it to make room for more Jungle explorers. We were wrong, "Hey guys! Thanks for cleaning my seats, they sure were dirty!"

Here's a variation of that line I remeber very well-
Upon my 18th birthday, my parents told me, "Son/daughter, your free ride is over, now get out"
Oh, that was so rude. PLEASE get out."
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
Best line I've EVER heard was (as we were passing Indy), "And over there is the net that children get stuck to. And everynight we scrape em' off and stick them in It's a Small World"
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
I don't know how many times I've heard this one, and I know it shouldn't be funny anymore but I like when the Skipper takes time to point out his favorite plants.
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
At the hippo pool, :fires pistol into the air: "That got ones in the trees!"
Re: favorite lines from jungle cruise
Last month we had a funny skipper who took us on "Rockin Jungle Cruise" He flashed the lights on and off and sang "Welcome to the Jungle."
It was hilarious.
