    That sounds just about right.

I'd rather go around and enjoy the rest of Disneyland while everyone is in line.

I'm thinking that we're going to need to have a big meet for the Nemo opening. Can you imagine how much the groupers would hate us? "How many here?" "Oh, about sixty or so..."

Either work on a sunburn or watch "The Life Aquatic" and "20,000 Leagues" while wearing my red zissou beanie.

The other decent option would be fidguring out how to best ignore the seagulls they are supposed to have. I've got a feeling their constant "Mine" will be more annoying than usual with an extra long line.

Yes! An account of your experience in line would be great. An epic story of tragedy and triumph in a 10 hour line.

Constantly give high fives to the same people I pass while in line.

And I'll make sure to have bad gas so everyone walks into it.

The only way this line is going to be toerable is if we go as a MiceChat group. That being said, the next time I am visiting Disneyland after Nemo opens, I am going to ask everyone to "Save The Date" on that particular weekend so I will be able to bring as many MiceChatters in the line with me as possible. It's going to make the line much easier to tolerate.
I woudn't be suprised if MiceChat ends up having numerous Nemo rides via Sunday Meets in the future!

Re: So What's Everyone Going To Do In That Long Long Long Nemo Line?

Not everyone is going to have to be in it.

    But if they were....

I remember a long, long time ago...sometime shortly after electricity ...many of us (then) young people would use our time in the long switchback lines to scope out cute prospects in the adjacent switchback, and as you passed them going back and forth many times, you struck up some funny conversation with them...on again, off again as you continued to pass them over and over again...and perhaps scored a connection as a result.

It even had a popular name at the time: Line Trolling (the fishing use of the word, not the internet use)

Does anyone still do that? Or does everyone just keep their heads down punching away on their little hand-helds?

Of course the above would only be suggested for the unattached line goer. Otherwise, everyone might find themselves looking for somebody other than Nemo in the water.

I remeber those days! They were the only redeeming thing about switchbacks. Nowadays, I'm more apt to point out something (or someone) unusual to my wife when we are in a switchback.

I'm sure they do. There still exist 13-23 year-old males. And giggly girls.

dress in baby blue and white clothes and appoliqies to other guests that the subs have gone down and will reopen later in the day... then get into a really short line.

I won't even go near that ride until a year or two passes so the line is somewhat manageable. But I'm hoping that enough people get drawn in to alleviate the lines on the other rides.
