Calling all Block Party Bash Fans!

Is anyone else as crazy about this show as I am?

I followed it down the performance corridor once, just to see it again. And get one of those nerf balls too. I got a blue one. Does anybody else have one of these balls?

I think it would be a lot of fun to perform in this show. It looks exhausting, but I don't mind. I'm young and love to dance.

Thumbs up Two Thumbs Up For Me...

I agree, BPB is awesome and it's just what DCA needs!! I only wish they had something of this calibur at Disneyland, instead of POD. As for the balls, I have 1 green and 2 yellow. I wish POD would hand out something special during the parade too, like gold coins that have the 50th logo on it. I remember Party Gras gave purple coins with the 35th logo on it, and I have plenty of those. But kudos to ALL the cast of BPB, cuz they do an awesome job performing! WAY TO GO!!!

Yeah, I've found POD a little lacking in this audience interaction too.

PoD is perfect for a Disneyland parade.

I saw BPB for my first time Friday evening. I really liked it. I wasn't sure what to expect but the show is lively, fun, and very interactive. Well done!

    Thumbs up

I love BPB!! I'm friends with one the young ladies who helped choreograph the show and was I impressed!! I t was all is claimed..interactive and loads of fun! I really enjoyed the energy and the way the dancers got you involved in the show!
They even had me out there dancing around !! It's a must see for all and a good addition to the wilting DCA.

You mean you don't think it's possible for someone to like Block Party Bash sincerely? I happen to love it. Saw it again yesterday, and our friend who saw it for the first time really liked it too.

My favorite float is Monsters Inc. (the Boo walk-around is AWESOME) but I haven't watched the Bug's Life float yet. Heimlich looks like a lot of fun from far away.

OMG I love this parade. it is so lively and fun. I always catch myself singing the music. definetly a hit for DCA. I think its even getting more talk on these boards than POD.

It's more about the credibility factor. I believe you, since I "know" you. Some of the posters seem to be coming out of the blue, though, going crazy over a parade that is not the Lion King one. Yeah, that is the standard. Yeah, I said it.
And some posters have admitted built-in bias.

Built-in-bias? I thought this parade was going to be awful when I first saw it. I just happened to be impressed with the effort and I enjoyed it very much.

My bar is set squarely at the height of my kids. I think PoD is an excellent parade, but I've never seen my kids be involved, engaged and ecstatic during a parade like they were the three days we saw BPB. I think they're both really good in their own ways, and I think the Lion King parade is the standard. It's way better than PoD. But BPB is different the Lion King. And in some ways, I think it's better. So count me among the surprised fans.
