You're meet pics are always superb, but this one is especially superbaliscious! Where can you buy those Tron shoes, very cool. So, what was the exact flavor of the black pocky? Thanks so much for posting, can't wait for more.

Coheteboy was the one with the Tron shoes. He is so lucky that there was a crowd. Otherwise, I might have stabbed him with some Pocky and stolen those suckers.

The black Pocky was sesame flavored. However, I was telling everyone that it was "Squid". I think that is the real reason they didn't like it.

The other flavor of the week was Green Tea Pocky. Some LOVED it some HATED it. I suppose I should keep a backup box of Men's Pocky around in the event that the gourmet Pockey isn't a hit

Black Pocky reminded me of Cookies & Cream texture. So I just went with that thought.

Fishbulb's face was especially hilarious spittng it out! I was put in the mind of someone at Woodstock getting on stage and saying into a microphone:

"Don't eat the black Pocky. It's not poison, it's just BAD POCKY."

And Von's is Safeway here in NorCal, but I haven't looked for Pocky there yet.

So far I've found Pocky at two stores--a local Asian market and WalMart. There are only two flavors: chocolate and strawberry. The Pocky at the Asian market is imported from Thailand. It was cheaper than Walmart's Japanese import, but the flavor was less intense, particularly the chocolate.

BTW, on our last trip to DL, I found a shirt very similar to the one Dusty wore yesterday--same color scheme, but DL general graphic instead of Frontierland. Jimmie says I should wear it on the next trip. (Should be April 1.)

I can't wait until I get to a MiceChat meet. Next year you guys watch out. And I don't mean watch out because i'm out there and stuff. I mean watch out and hard, because i'm too shy for my own good. haha Those Tron shoes...I kick myself for not buying them at Urban Outfitters when they still had them. Great report, I always enjoy reading these.

Yamyam! That was the big thing among all the kids when I was in high school!

I have to say I like Pocky better though. You can't overdo the chocolate, and I get real overdone if there's too much.

    MORE PICS!

Dear Fishy, this is my very first post and I am proud to say it's on your thread. I so admired your beautiful photos of the flowers at the park! That is one of my absolute favorite things about the park. You are a wonderful photographer and a gentlemen. Looking forward to seeing you and Dusty in April. With much admiration, Tigerlily
