Before this gets closed, maybe I'll ask it on a new thread... Has anyone noticed that the "Dead End: Prepare to Exit to the Living World" sign is gone?

That'd be too funny if we got all worked up over nothing.

In any case, I'll get my last word in here after the fact--kudos and thanks go to all in this thread, proving their ability to be far saner, more human, and generally more fun than the cynical, supercilious members of certain other sites I frequent. Ahem...jwfan... Anyway, may this thread continue for another 2000 posts.

    And SmellyOrangutan...nice. Just nice.

    That was perfect SmellyOrangutan.

I want to say that I thank you all for your wonderful contributions, to this Mammoth-Thread; no other thread on all of micechat has entertained me so thoroughly as this. Well done all.

P.S. I just checked the Rules & FAQ and it states (direct copy paste):

General policy for locking, deleting, or moving threads is when:

    1. They reach over 2000 replies.
    2. The topic of the thread violates our rules and regulations.
    3. At any moderator's or administrator's discretion.

So I'm not sure why we can still post... I assume that it is not an automatic function of the forums, a MOD must come and manualy close the thread.

    Re: Long-forgotten Haunted Mansion Effect?

You guys are great. I have no doubt there will something like a "Thread Two," simply because interest in the Mansion is so high. It will be a little less intense, less thickly-packed, perhaps, and my own contributions will be less frequent, but...people just can't shut up about this ride! And also, the "comments" section at GRD's blog seems to me to be underutilized as a potential discussion forum for Mansionites.
