What a Trip! A TR from a Bornieo point of view

Over the last few weekends I found myself having such a blast at the park, I thought I would share some of my adventures with all of you! I hope you enjoy it!

I arrived at the park to find the line up at the structure to be insane so I decided to hoof it to the park. My fat butt could always use a little extra walking…

I like the pattern here. One part goes one way and the other part goes the other way. Who thinks of this?

There is always some idiot burning down Disney Way in some hot rod. Lots of speeders today but otherwise a pleasant journey!

I love how the Palm Trees line the boulevard !! They’re getting bigger!

Isn’t it funny how a lamp post and a fire hydrant are like, right next to each other! Hahahaha!

X marks the spot. Is this where they land the helicopter?

Down the pathway I go!! I guess some band was practicing at the House of Blues because you could hear them playing.

I love this picture. The area is so calm and peaceful and sometimes you can see the Monorail go overhead.

What a weird place to put a barricade. I guess it keeps people out of the bushes. How funny!

Can you believe this one? Man o man!

These keep strollers from bumping into the poor trees. If only they sold these to guests. Then our feet would get run over all the time.

After getting into the park I went over to the Mark Twain River Boat. It is such a relaxing journey across some beautiful scenery. It was such a nice day too.

Riding on the bottom deck is a lot of fun because you can see the other decks. No spitting please!

The best seat on the boat and has a great view of the ducks almost getting run over.

Next I ran over to The Haunted Mansion. There was a line, as usual.

    So I waited…

Then the line would move for a bit.

I can’t believe I never noticed the noise coming from the inside of the Mansion. It got real loud.

They really packed us into the entryway. I always wished that they would put some sort of face in the mirror.

I didn’t take any pics inside the Mansion (No flash photography please!)
It was time to dine and I met some fellow MC’ers over at Storytellers Café.

What is butter without Bread? They have some of the best bread. Yummy!

Ice Tea is very refreshing and works well with LOTS of sugar. Sugar High Alert!

The Grand Californian had a nice line up of people ready to check in. I need to stay there one day. The lobby is a great place to sit and relax. The bar’s not too bad either!

The park was getting busy around the Castle as I made my way towards Fantasyland and my ultimate destination It’s a Small World.

I wonder how many family pictures I’m in when I’m near the castle.

The “De-blinged” castle still looks great.

Once again, a huge freekin’ line for Peter Pan.

    Amazing!

Tea Cups had a larger than unusual line up.

Made it to Small World but for some reason it was down! I was really surprised…

So, I turned around and headed over to Tomorrow land!

It’s amazing how little the Matterhorn changed with all the rehab it had. A great ride still! You could tell from the screams!

Can’t wait for Nemo! It’s only a few months away from opening and I really like how the lagoon looks with all the bright neon like colors.

The lines for this are going to be huge! Bring reading material! hahahaha

I kind of like the Jedi Academy show. Neat to see Darth Vader at the park. I need to get a pic with him someday!

Thankfully I got my fast pass for Space Mountain early in the day. The line was 65 minutes!!

I hadn’t been to the Lost Bar in a very long time so I went to make an appearance there where a bunch of MC’ers were drinking it up.

Gotta love the themeing but you’d think it would be more geared towards Peter Pan. (Lost Boys??)

Someone had too much to drink and needs to find the Lost Bathroom!

    Good drinks and good friend!!

I wish the little boats were working. The area has great atmosphere.

    Well, that’s all for now.

    THE END!

Very unique way of looking at DL! Thanks for the sights I usually miss......the ground!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

    That was awesome.

Seriously, I was expecting the opposite from your photos though. I thought for sure they'd all be the tops of peoples' heads from the eyebrows up and then all blue sky.

    About time!!!
    Brilliant.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
