    Smile Special/secret souvenir buttons & certificates?`

Ok, so everyone knows about the buttons/stickers you can get at City Hall such as the birthday buttons, first visits, and just marrieds, etc.

but has anyone compiled a list of all the RANDOM things you can get in the park? For instance, I know you can get a sticker/button if you ask one of the balloon seller CMs to let you hold all the balloons. You also get a sticker if you do something in the Main Street Fire Station. I was just reading in another thread that you can "captain" the Mark Twain and you get a certificate for that, so I got to wondering...what other "special" souvenirs can you get for doing fun little things in the park?

I'll have to do all of that fun secret stuff in a couple days when I'm there for my birthday.

I also know you can ride in the front of the train as well. Can you captain the Mark Twain no matter what age?

Yep - I captained the Mark Twain when I was there - all by myself! I saw that there wasn't anyone up there, so I asked. It was fun - Captain Richard even played the burning cabin spiel for me. And I got the certificate.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

Nurse Minnie is cool! We'll add that to the list - anyone else know of others? This will be a fun new checklist for the next time I go!

I know the Monorail is back and running, but last weekend both the train and the mark twain are not running, due to maintenance, makes me sad!

Don't forget the family reunion (Impossibles) button!

What are the different kinds of birthday buttons? Are the same throughout both parks or are there variations?

They are all pretty much the same, but the hotels sometimes have the "old" ones.

There were originally stickers for everything: birthdays, first visit, etc. but for the YOAMD they were replaced with buttons. SO yeah, they're all for the same things, it just depends on if you ask for one in a place where they've got the new buttons or still the old stickers.

I just had a vision of one of my friends running through the park, getting as many buttons and stickers as she can and hiding them each time she gets to a new CM....then wearing all the buttons in public or on our next DLR trip....
"(*to the CM*) It's my birthday today...(*as we walk alway, to me*) Okay so that's seven birthday buttons, five first trip buttons, two honorary citizen button--we should get a few more of those--and one 'just married' button..."

What's sad is that really isn't all that farfetched for her to do, even giving a different name for each button.....
    dreams. come. true.

    I want a certificate.

Autopia gives you a Drivers lisence and Monorail gives you a pilots lisence.
