    Too Many People!!

Arrived at Disneyland on Saturday 3/10/07 at 10:30am and it was packed!! This 2fer deal is bringing in a lot of people. It was like a summer day in August. Wait times:
Pirates line reached the River Bell Restaurant!! Ouch
Space Mountain: 60 minutes (seemed longer)
Star Tours: 45 minutes (longest I've seen)
    Indy: 55 (Minutes)
Matterhorn: (Both right and left sides came together) Wait???
Kinda gives you an idea what the wait/crowds were like for Saturday.

Well, it is the beginning of Spring Break. I'm not shocked at all.

I was there last Sunday/Monday/Tuesday and was shocked at the crowds! This from someone who ususally only goes Thanksgiving or NYE (yes, I was amongst the hords this past NYE)
Side note, what a thrill to see HM in its normal wonderfulness...I have not seen the park sans Christmas garb since 1998!

    And that's why I didn't go today!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

They also had National Deaf Awareness day there Sat, where they had extra interpreters available. My understanding is it was a large event. They presold tix at $45 for park hoppers.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

Man! The Matterhorn's lines connected around the backside? Dang! I've never seen that! I bet those people were wishing there was a FastPass machine nearby for the ride! LOL

    Thanks for the post!

Wow! I sure am glad I was able to go Friday as it wasn't really all that bad and wait times for me were 5 to 10 minutes on Indy, POC, and HM. But I know those days are coming to an end real fast.

...and probably some shade and benches too . It must have been a nightmare standing in that long of a line for Matterhorn though.

I agree! I don't know how it would look, or how Disney could do it, but it would be nice if they could install some type of shade canopy along the fence to give the people waiting in line some type of relief. Granted, this canopy would have to blend in well with Matterhorn so I have no idea how it would look, but it's just a thought anyway.

I try to take those crowded days in stride, but I really dislike those times when you get caught up in a huge crowd after a parade or something and you have to take those itty bitty, teeny tiny baby steps so you don't step on someone!
