We want to catch the Parade of dreams this Friday, it starts at 6:30. What would be a realistic amount of time to block off for this, including getting a decent spot to watch? How long is the parade?

I tried to edit it, but wasn'[t able to! My other part of the question is how long will we need to watch the parade? half hour before for a good spot, but how long is the parade?
Its about 15-20 mins from the time the first float goes by and the last float goes by. Also keep in mind different units of the parade will give you a different show stop.
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." Walt Disney
For good seats, get there at least an hour before, that's when we begin setting up. The best spot depends on which float that you want to see stop in front of you.
I agree with DC Ken said. So far I myself had the floats stop on. Peter Pan's float,Ariel's float, Lion King float and Snow White/Mickey Mouse floats. Only Pinocchio's Alice, and the Sea Witch's floats haven't stop were I have been at. And if you go by the coke cola place it will stop 2 times on Peter's and Snow White/Mickey's float.
Thanks all, your experience and advice is much appreciated..
