    Re: Guided Tour Changes

The Myths and Ledgends tour sold out real quickly in 2005.
I would like to see them offer it again, so I could participate.
If I remember correctly, they only ran it on evenings when
DCA closed earlier, (during the week). so that the tour would
be after hours! I'd love to hear some of the background
    stories of the Haunted Mansion.

They will be cleaning these earphones in between tours... yes?
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I've never taken one of these tours. Are they worth it?

    Re: Guided Tour Changes

I had never taken one before either. But my girlfiiend and I were on a "we're turning 50 and going to Disneyland and doing things we never do with all our kids" trip. So we signed up for the Walk in Walt's Footsteps.

A couple of things you get on the tour:
-go into the lobby of Club 33 and able to take a picture in the glass elevator!
-Lunch on the Disney Gallery balcony (very delicious lunch with lots to choose from
-Gold pin embossed with Walt in front of the castle, only obtainable if you take the tour.

The cost was $57, but I got 20% off with my Disney Visa, which brought it more reasonably down to $46. I would say that the lunch was top drawer and should be accountable in the cost, as is the pin. I was very glad I did it, as I have wanted to do it for many years. Will say only paying for myself is such a treat!
Oh, it is 3.5 hours of walking (well minus about 20 minutes for the lunch!)

I've been to Club 33 for lunch, and that elevator teaser would make me insane! ha!

Sounds like a good tour and we do have an AP, so, we could get a discount?? We also have the Disney VISA, so, we're covered there too. Must think of this for the next trip! Thank you for the info!!!
