not soon enough. Fortunatelyit DOES end on the 26th of April. So, if you can get to the park before you leave on the 27th then you are in business.

You mean the barely adequate version.

I don't like Rockin' but I'm not exactly rushing back to the park to see that lackluster 50th makeover.

how is it lackluster? They put in new speakers and a great sound system as a whole. The music is alright but when it comes down to it all it has ever been is a coaster type ride in the dark with lights bouncing off the walls..... what more do you want? I think its fine the regular way.

rockin? lol! it wont! The ride as a short contract with the chili peppers for the music so in the end it is going away anyways. Seeing how they had their name pulled from all of the ads I am sure they will not sign again if they even tried to bring rockin back. So this version you are seeing now is one of a kind.

I'm looking forward to the day Rockin' Space Mountain ends. It gets a big from me.

Rockin' Screamin' is another story. I think the soundtrack fits well with that ride.

The thing I wonder is if they will have to close either coaster for any amount of time in order to change each ride back to their original, better version.

I sure hope not because I'm going to be there the week these two coasters are due to return to their old glory.

It was billed as a huge makeover for the 50th aniversary to cover up the fact that they had to rebuild the track due to poor maintenance. The changes they did make are insignificant and/or confusing. I can't for the life of me figure out why they covered up the observation deck in the queue. It was the one exciting thing in the entire line.
