    Video Piracy

    Happy 40th AnARRRRRRRversery POTC!

Youtuber Parkhopper has been kind enough to share this with teh Internetz...

"On March 18, 1967 Pirates of the Caribbean opened at Disneyland in California. To celebrate 40 years of pillage and plunder here is a panel discussion held at Disneyland in May of 2000, during which the attraction's designers discuss its creation and evolution."

    Pirates Event 2000 (Disneyland):
    Part 1
    Part 2
    Part 3
    Part 4
    Part 5
    Part 6
    Part 7
    Part 8

You'll need to follow the links to the next parts as Parkhopper uploads them.

Yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

I wonder where they staged this, there's definitely a coaster or similar nearby... there's the constant screaming sounds in the background. Apparently it was in Fantasyland Theatre, so.. Thunder Mountain? it seems VERY loud.

    Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?

I haven't watched the video [my internet connection is horrible] but if it's at the FL theatre, it's most likely Gadgets Coaster in Toontown, or the DLRR. Gadgets is almost directly to the right of the theatre, and BTM is way too far from the theatre to make that much noise.

Eh, feels like the typical corporate thing to me. Like the stuff I have to attend where I work.

Thanks for the linky though, it was interesting despite the corporate feel. ha!

Thanks for the links to the video. I wish they'd do something like this for its 40th this year.
