Where are the so called Year of a Million Dream Prizes?

I am curious as to if anyone has seen these so called Year of a Million Dreams prizes. I visit the park often, and have yet to see anyone win a prize. Please share with me your experiences, give me hope that this is just not another gimmick to get people in the park.

I've seen a LOT of people actually win every time I'm there. I also see a lot of dreamfastpasses (which I found out gives you park hopping privlages no matter what type of ticket you entered either park with)

but like you both I've never actually won myself

I won ears once. Dream ears. They're cute. They were giving them away at the entrance.

The other common ones are the fastpasses (FPs for every FP ride, good that day) and a lanyard w/2 Tink pins. Other prizes include a special table @a restaurant (once a day?). There are more as well; can't think of any.

And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed

I AM gorgeous but that's not why I got them
You can't buy them... these are silver ears and blue w/clouds on the hat part... Wait, I'll attach a pic - I keep them on my computer at work (Sorry it's not a great pic!)
It was just luck - we were gong through the correct tunnel at the right time (dontbecheekin and I) and I noticed a lady hading them out, so we went back and got them... this suit tried to make me wear them but I refused as I was already wearing different ears!
I hear the earlier you get to the park, the better your chances. We were def, earlier than usual that day!

We've won. I think we are up to 7 ears and 6 lanyards. The lanyards are cute also.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

Where are the prizes usually won? At the main gates?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Anywhere in either park! THe Dream Team members get a print out of where to go when... It could be at the exit of a ride you were on... at a certain bench... at the tunnel... anywhere, basically!!

I've won dream fastpasses twice. The first time they were giving them out when my husband and I were exiting Soarin', the second at the Matterhorn. And no... we did not have our adorable child with us like people asked us at the meets after we got them.

Re: Where are the so called Year of a Million Dream Prizes?

I've only won YOAMD stuff in the mail by sending in postcards. I have the lanyard and ears. Tink pins would be fun but I assume you have to be in the park to win those since you're supposed to keep one and give the other away. My husband and I go to the park a couple times a month but usually after work on Fridays or on Sundays after 1, so our odds to win in the park aren't very high. I recommend mailing in postcards. There are threads with directions about this already so I won't go into it.

Re: Where are the so called Year of a Million Dream Prizes?

I see people with them all the time. One trend I have noticed, the more common prizes (lanyards, hats, and Fastpasses) appear to be given away on or near attractions. I've heard of the official prizes being handed out in restaurants and such, but not often. And also, as said before, most of the giveaways happen before noon, and I think all of them have to happen by 5pm.
