Seagulls not "pidgeons"MINE MINE MINE!
There's a more up-to-date picture in another thread yesterday that shows the after shot when the "seagull poop white" paint has been applied. Let's see if I can find it... nope I suck - i couldn't find the thread. But that lady did a major sculptured white paint job on that buoy. So now it's more "interesting".![]()

Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?
DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.
I thought they'd go with the large buoy.
I wouldn't be surprised if real seagulls start using this as a perch as well...
Oh Buoy!!
(nice scoop--thanks for the pic)
that's cool...Might entertain us people waiting 4 hours in line
Don't worry, we'll hide you where there is nobody around for miles, Disney's California Adventure!

Be sure to watch my September 11th Tribute!
The other boards have known about this for the past week. It looks very aged now. It also has bird crap all over it (White Paint)

Lets give credit where credit is due ... the "DG" in that photograph shows that it is from Disneygeek.com, not screamscape, and on that website, it shows someone in the process of painting it, as the photo above shows, and also a photo of it later on:

I think that is kinda a funny place to work on the Buoy, don't you think?
...
I think the buoy will go near that lonely rock in the lagoon. Because there is a large hole in that buoy which I think a light see shine on it at night...
EDIT: Here's the "poopy" paint job:
