    The Snow White Academy Award as well as all of Walt's personal awards belong to the Disney Family. They occasionally loan them out for special display, but it will become a permanently display at the Family Museum at the Presidio.

    I think it's already on display at the new Presidio location. It's just that it's not open to the public yet. You can see the Snow White Oscar on display (along with many other treasures) right here:

I believe you can see the originals in the background on many of the travel channel specials on WDW, Imagineering, or DL when they are interviewing
    Imagineers (Baxter, Sklar, etc.)

    Slightly off topic -- Does anyone know if Walt's animation desk on permanent display at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History will be going to the new museum in San Francisco, or will it be staying in LA? (I hope it stays)

    I had NO clue the ones there now were replacements. Now I am looking through my old photo albums for photos of the others!!!
