We made our annual Spring Break trip to the Resort this past week.
Here are some pics from our visits to Goofy's Kitchen.
We enjoyed dinner there Monday night, and then breakfast on Thursday morning. We used to prefer their breakfasts over dinner, but since the menu change some time ago, we now prefer the dinner meal. Of course, that won't stop us from enjoying both each week-long trip that we take!
Our service was a little lax during our breakfast meal. Dirty plates kept stacking up on the table, and refills of OJ and ice water would only come after we asked (again). We cured the dirty plate situation by placing them on the clean table next to us. Sorry, but if they were doing their job right, we wouldn't have had to resort to that. With six of us at one medium sized round table, space was at a premium.
We found out that our favorite server has gone onto greener pastures. He also doubled as the Mad Hatter in his "spare time". If you know who I am talking about, I'm sure that you will agree that the place won't be the same without him. Sure, he was a little long-in-the-tooth for the M-H character, but he more than made up for it with his "acting" while on stage. He was TIGGERIFIC!!! (in BOTH "roles", I might add...)
As usual, we had a BLAST! A little issue with the service one time won't change our minds about the place.
Dinner characters were:
Chef Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Aladdin, Mary Poppins and Minnie.
Breakfast characters were:
Chef Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Aladdin, Jasmine and Bert (it was the same Bert that we saw in DL on Wednesday).
Here are some pics.
