My Mother-in-law bought my son a blue Mickey Mouse balloon on Friday - and here were are 3 days later and it is still fully afloat in the livingroom near his 'toy area'.

I remember when I was a kid, the next morning one ear was way more deflated than the other........

Yeah those old ballons really didn't last...especially since we used to get one in the evening just before leaving. Didn't they use to release a bunch of Mickey ballons at some point in the afternoon??

I bought some helium balloons on Friday for my grandson's surprise birthday party on Saturday. The lady at the party store suggested that I pay a little extra to get better helium put in the balloons. She said they should last at least 36 hours. Well, I bought the balloons Friday at 3 p.m. and it's 3 days later, and the on big mylar balloon is still as strong as ever.

There's just something so much fun about helium balloons.

I hope your little boy enjoys his for many days.

My wife and I used Mickey Mouse Balloons as part of the centerpieces at our Disneyland-themed wedding reception.

Since we were concerned that the balloons might deflate before the event, we bought a test balloon several weeks prior to our wedding. That balloon stayed pretty well inflated for about a week.

Still, we didn't want to take any chances and ended up buying our balloons the day before the wedding. We camped out on Main Street and jumped on the first balloon vendor we saw. "We'd like 20 purple balloons" we told him. He just laughed and thought we were kidding. "No. Really. We want 20 purple balloons."

The smile on his face quickly disappeared. Luckily, another ODV CM came walking by and our guy was able to flag him down for help. The other CM ran backstage and little by little started inflating and bringing out 20 purple balloons.

Our CM did mention that this was his first day!

That is good that it's still going. Must be that clear balloon on the outside.

I remember when I was a kid (before the clear balloon) the balloon popped when it hit the ceiling the same night I brought it home and I cried. I was such a brat....

Beautiful wedding. The balloons were a nice touch, oh and you have mickey and minnie on the table!

I bought a deflated balloon for my sister when I was there in Nov. Right before christmas I had it inflated at Fred Meyer and it lasted through Feburary.

I just wanted to post that the Everlasting Disneyland Balloon which I started a thread about a while ago is STILL floating in the air! Amazing! We bought the balloon for $7 on March 23 - and here it is April 6!

We got a yellow one on March 25th and we couldn't take it home since we flew but I left it with my neice in Cali and she says it is still hanging on.
I wish we could have have brought it home my girls love baloons.

i still have one from last years choc walk. its no longer afloat. but its still inflated just a big. probably a little bit bigger than a small mickey mouse waffle.

We bought one of these balloons for our grandson..... and even after he flew back home, it was still floating around our living room..... for 2 months! Finally one ear went down, and over the next week, the other ear, and then the outer clear plastic got "shrively." Recently, we had another one, which lasted ONLY a month. I say that is $7 well spent. From now on when they come to visit, we will buy our balloon the first day, to last their whole time here!

I think its the Mylar. We have them at my work and they'll stay up for a week sometimes.
