    Disneyland's Mint Julep

I am a huge fan of Disneyland's Mint Julep... so much so I want to know how to make it. Anyone have any ideas of what it is? Or where I can find it?

There was an old magazine called the Disney News a long time ago. I seem to remember there being the recipe in one of those issues. Don't remember which one though....

They sell it in stores, under the name "SCOPE" mouthwash.

(ps, your really NOT suppose to drink DL mint juleps,
you just rinse, gargle, and spit - )

Most people do accidently swallow a little, but if you drink too
much of the stuff, it has been know to cause addictions, just
remember, the 1st step is admitting

ps do a search for "mint julep" on the boards here,
this question comes up VERY frequently!

    Re: Disneyland's Mint Julep

Here's another receipe I just found in my newest edition of Taste of Home magazine:

    Mock Mint Julep

    2 cups cold water
    1-1/2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup lemon juice
    6 mint sprigs
    5 cups ice cubes
    2-1/2 cups ginger ale, chilled

In a bowl, combine the water, sugar, lemon juice and mint; stir well. Let stand for at least 45 minutes.

Strain and discard mint. Place ice cubes in two 2-quart pitchers; add half of the lemon mixture and ginger ale to each. Garnish with lemon and mint if desired. Yield: 13 servings (about 3 quarts).
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

You can also call Disneyland and ask. I have had to go to City Hall recently for a few lists of exact ingredients. They were extremly helpful and actually called the places in question for me.

Yes, getting the recipe would be a great idea. My goddaughter once asked for a sip of my mom's when we were at Disneyland, and she drank a lot of it, saying "MMM, yum!" My goddaughter likes a mint julep! I swear, that kid is so weird!

IMHO- It has changed in recent yrs. It seems more "watered" down. They used to put a minth leaf and a cherry in it and now when you get it at the French Market, it just comes out with the rest of the soda's. (the only nice thing about that is u can get a refill now) But, when I ate at the BB, it tasted heaps better!

Yes, really! I had a question about a skewar from Bengal BBQ and they didn't know, so they called over and got the correct info. Also, I asked about the Dole Whip and if it was dairy free (which it isn't) and they called them too! I am changing over to a special diet and Disney now caters to that, so they are willing to find out for you (they don't want ppl getting sick due to hidden ingredients).
