If I think my shoes might fall off on Soarin', I'll kick them off and slip them under the seat.

If I did that my head would explode. The only time I'm barefoot is when I'm taking a shower or bath ... that's it! Don't like going barefoot at all.

If I'm wearing flip flops, then I do - not a big deal, since 'flops' will dry, but it's cool to be barefoot

It's way cooler to take your feet out and just leave the flip-flops right there on the floor. When the ride mechanism descends at the end of the show, just slip your dogs back in and you're good to go!

I'm just the opposite; I take my shoes off whenever possible. My art professor can usually recognize which bench is mine, even if we're all off on a break or wandering around the room, because it has shoes sitting under it. But I usually wear my lace-up work shoes to the park, which are harder to slip off.

I actually "got in trouble" for taking my shoes off on Grizzly. The CM demanded I put them back on because "shoes and shirts are required". When I told him I didn't want them to be wet all night, he replied "This is a water ride". (He probably said "stupid AP" under his breath too. )

Although I go barefoot at home all the time, I would never go on a ride barefoot.

I don't see why you would take your shoes off on a ride unless there is a chance they might fly off (Soarin') or get soaked (GRR or Splash)

Of course, I usually request the top row on Soarin'. I don't like looking up at other people's bare feet!

All the time in the theaters. Tiki Room, Aladdin musical, 50 Magical Years, my shoes are off as soon as I sit down. Any time I think I can get away with taking 'em off for a nice 15-30 minute stretch I can't resist! Never on a ride though.

Righto! They'll be right there on the floor where you left them, when you return.

Strangely though...they don't permit this on Florida's version of the same attraction. Every time I've left my flip-flops on the floor there...a Cast Member comes by and tells me to put them in the space under the seat.

"But they let everyone do it at Disneyland." "I don't know anything about Disneyland. You have to put them under the seat, sir."
