I still can't tell. Seeing it from the outside and seeing it from inside the sub are two entirely different things. I don't know how far you go back but I know from having ridden the old subs that this is the case. I am a bit leery of the bright colors on the Finding Nemo version, but I am really holding off any judgement until I actually ride on it. (Although I am sure I am going to love it regardless)

This is a good question, but one that will no doubt be asked again once the new subs are up and running.

However, it should be noted that we may be no closer to a "better poll" no matter how long it may be post-poned, as many younger MC'ers never had the opportunity to ride the original Submarine Voyage as a basis for this comparison.

On a much larger scale and yes, but inside the building, not out in the viewable lagoon.

I think the old school Sub. Voyage looked more realistic as where Nemo looks more like a cartoon.

I'm sorry to say though C-HOX, what you are looking at is the final product. Really what I think is lacking in the new one is textured flooring which gives people the illusion that sand is on the bottom. Every inch of space in the old one was filled regardless if it was viewable by the sub or not, that is what I like about the original Submarine Voyage.

This is a little off topic buy I'm dying to know. I've heard some people say the Squid was clutching an Orca in the old Voyage but I've never been able to really see the squid. I'm hoping they do something with that space like add a Blue Whale or keeping the squid, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think that the old version is very cluttered and has a lot of the same rocks/starfish/plants within the same area. The new one on the other hand is more spread out and well planned.

The Orca thing is definitely not true...at least not for Disneyland (I don't know how WDW's looked). I might be confusing the two attractions, but I think the squid clutched another sub...

Or perhaps you're thinking of the octopus clutching the shark?
